Hampden Rifle and Pistol Club is located on a 150-acre parcel of land on the Meadow Road in Hampden, Maine.
It offers both a 50-foot indoor range, a 200 yard outdoor range, 4 dedicated pistol bays, and a 600 yard High Power range for use at specific times for matches and practice.

Members can enjoy the property for multiple outdoor purposes, with the activity holding precident being shooting.
Please follow the posted rules regarding vehicle travel on the 200 yard range road.

A full kitchen is available during meetings or shooting events.

The indoor range is regularly available on Friday evenings.
Note: In the winter, club members shoot the winter postals.  Postal shooting will be held from approximately 5 to 7 pm on the indoor range. The range will be open for all shooting after postals are completed for the evening.

There is a $5.00 fee per night to use the indoor range.

Unscheduled use of the indoor range is only allowed for members who have met the requirements for access to this area.

The outdoor range is open for use at all times unless there is a scheduled event. Please use good judgment on determining whether you should shoot.
The outdoor range is closed at dusk. On the weekend, the range is open at 9 am until dusk. Please be mindful of our neighbors.

The use of Club facilities for private functions is not allowed without prior approval of the executive committee.

The club does provide cardboard backers for the outdoor 100 and 200 yard range. See a club officer for more information.

The pistol range requires you to bring your own paper targets and stands.

If you are interested in trying a different or new shooting discipline, discuss your ideas with the Club Officers. If your idea meets with their approval, be prepared to take charge of organizing and starting the project.
